Sobre la Excursion

Yachting in the Beagle Channel Islands

The excursion is done in small boats with a maximum capacity of 25 passengers plus captain and bilingual guide sailor. We depart from the local port to Alicia Island, where we will observe a colony of one- and two-furred sea lions. Then we set sail for Isla de los Pájaros, where the colonies of royal and imperial cormorants live next to their nests, where we can see their chicks from spring to autumn. Again we head east to another small island where, depending on the time of year, there are two-hairy sea lions. Nearby is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse, a true symbol of the city of Ushuaia, built in 1919. From there we spotted the rock cormorant island. On the way back we disembark at Bridges Island to walk along an interpretative trail of flora and birdlife, telling the history of the Yámanas aborigines. The largest anthropogenic Yamana shells in the region are found on this island. As it is the largest island, we touch the highest panoramic point from where we observe the magnificence of the Beagle Channel with the city of Ushuaia in the distance. During the crossing we shared a rich cafeteria service on board. sea lions

This is an excursion where you will be able to visit different islands in the Beagle Channel where you will be able to see different native species of birds and sea lions. A symbolic view of Ushuaia not to be missed is the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse where the boat will approach for you to take a souvenir photo. Then, an incredible experience in the Beagle Channel is the disembarkation at Bridges Island to learn about the native fauna and flora while listening to the history of the native people of Ushuaia. A tour that will dazzle you
