The Tour
The excursion focuses on the history of the first contacts of the Expeditionaries with the Tehuelches (natives of the area), crossing cliffs and marvelling at the views of Lake Argentino and the Andes Mountains. After being picked up at your hotel in El Calafate, the first stop will be on the shores of the lake where you will interpret the native flora and fauna, where an explanation of glaciology and geology will be given. The second stop will be at Los Acantilados in front of the lake, from where you will have magnificent views of the surroundings. Finally, at the third stop, you will visit the Archaeological Zone. Here you will be able to appreciate Rock Art through paintings in the Caves on the shores of the lake, where thousands of years ago the Tehuelche culture left their marks in the rock and that today we can interpret. It is there, inside the cave, where we will have lunch and enjoy a unique experience in a totally natural environment that will transport us to those remote years of the first explorers.

You can cancel the service without penalty up to 7 days before the activity. From 3 to 7 days prior to the activity the penalty will be 50% of the final value of the excursion. From 0 to 3 days prior to the excursion the penalty cost will be 100% of the activity.
