Ushuaia Maritime Museum considers that being close to culture and knowledge should be within everyone’s reach.
The building where the museum is located is a historical landmark. We had to work thoroughly for inclusion, therefore eliminating the architectural barriers. We built access ramps and areas for resting. We leveled the floors and we installed an elevator. We adapt toilets and we set up an exclusive parking lot.
To achieve this inclusion of knowledge we created interactive solutions.
Touch to see: miniatures and haptic layouts where people, through volume, texture and shapes, can be able to put images together.
Audio guides available in several languages.
We developed QR codes with access to sign language.
Brochures and signage in Braille, videos with sign language.
